Regular drop-in Pause support available in community based locations

Pause are an open access, youth led, brief intervention, emotional health and wellbeing service for children and young people under 25 years old who have a Birmingham GP. They can also offer support to parents/carers of children and young people under 25 years old who have a Birmingham GP with how best to help their children with their emotions and feelings.

The Pause team is made up of experienced wellbeing practitioners and wellbeing volunteers who will take the time to listen and provide support strategies.  You can drop-in for face-to-face support - just check the website for the week’s dates, times and locations. Or, if you would rather have a phone or video call, please complete the request on the website - please note there is a wait for this support.

All Age Autism Service Directory.

This directory gives information about a range of services offering support to autistic children, young people and adults and their families. Parents can even self-refer following the process outlined in the flyer below.

Developing Local Provision is a two-year project which aims to develop and improve provision, progress and outcomes for children and young people with additional needs or Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in mainstream schools across Birmingham.  The project is producing encouraging results.
